Enlisted August 6, 1862 at Buffalo Mo., in Co., A. 26th, Enrolled Mo. Mil. Served 25 days. Came to Wright Co., before 1870, lived w. of Whetstone bridge of N. Hwy. in 1880 Census, Wood Township, Wright Co., Buried Ussery family cemetery w. of Owens store on Gary Raney farm.
