PIONEER RESIDENT OF DILLON DIES
AT HOSPITAL HERE
Mrs. Rose Kent, 76, wife of John Kent, succumbed at 12:50 this morning at the Barrett hospital. Death was attributed to a stroke which she suffered late Saturday night and did not regain
consciousness.
The deceased was born March 13, 1870 In Des Molnes, Iowa. She was married to Mr. Kent on July 2, 1892 In Boise, Idaho, and the couple came directly to Dillon. They have made their home In the Kent addition which, bears their name, ever since.
Survivors, in addition to her ; husband, are two sons and daughters-in-law. Mr.and Mrs. Howard Kent, Dillon and Mr. and Mrs. Edison Kent, Phillpsburg; a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Harkness of Sheep Creek basin, and six grandchildren . Also a brother in Colorado, and a sister in the middle west.
The remains are at the Brundage funeral home. Funeral arangements have not been completed. February 18, 1947------newspaper clipping
